About Us

When I first seen a White German Shepherd I knew I wanted one because they were "different" than the typical German Shepherds that I had seen. My husband's cousin had one when he was younger so he had seen them but he had not seen any since then. We got Clyde (Dillon's American Outlaw) and we knew he needed a Bonnie (Mrs. American Outlaw) to be an outlaw with. They live up to their names, that's how we come up with the name "American Outlaw German Shepherds". We are trying to keep the dogs "call names" (what we call them) and they're AKC Registered names as close to American Outlaws as we can. We love the "different" or "odd" colors (which includes white) so we have chose to breed whites and hopefullywill be breeding blacks soon as well. We do have a black male that we breed to a white female and they produce the black & tans, reverse (wolf) masks, and Hobo's. As you can see on our past litters page, we have had whites, black & tans, a few reverse masks, & a few "Hobo" German Shepherd Puppies. I have to say, the reverse mask & Hobo puppies are by far the cutest we have had and they were the biggest "shock" as we were not expecting them and had not heard of "Hobo German Shepherds" until we had them.

We absolutely love this breed for the love, protection, and loyalty that they have for their owners. Our dogs are our family and are mainly only socialized with us, as they are for our protection as well as being our babies.

Our puppies are well socialized with us and our other dogs which include our "inherited" mix breed smaller dog that we inherited from a passing parent. His name is "Puppy Dog". He was a stray that had come up one day a few years ago when the "fair" was in town. According to our vet he was neutered the "old fashion way" by someone that was not a vet and he was taken in instead of given back to an abuser. Our puppies are exposed to different noises as soon as they can hear as well.
